CARFAX sends SMS text messages for service reminders, vehicle alerts, and security codes.
To manage your text message preferences:
- To Opt Out: Simply reply STOP to any text message received from CARFAX. You will receive a confirmation SMS, and we will stop sending text alerts to that number.
- To Re-subscribe: Text START or JOIN to the same number, or log into your Car Care profile and select to opt back in to mobile alerts.
- Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
